Master Pil-Woong Chung was born and raised in South Korea. He has trained more than 37 years in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kuektooki, and has more than 18 years of teaching experience. He is a 6th Dan Master Black Belt in Taekwondo with Kukkiwon certification. He is a vice president in ATU( American Taekwondo United) Michigan and a committee director in ATU. He founded Chung's Taekwondo and Martial Arts USA 14 years ago. He focuses on teaching everybody to develop mind, spirit, body, and a way of life.

1. Taekwondo for Tiny Tigers (ages 3-6)
In today's world parents need extra help reinforcing respect, courtesy, and self-discipline. These traits are part of every lesson at Chung's Taekwondo and Martial Arts USA. Our Taekwondo classes teach much more than just kicking and punching, we teach life skills, goal setting, integrity, and perseverance, while stressing an I CAN attitude.
2. Taekwondo for Kids (ages 7-12)
It is no secret that Taekwondo training builds stronger bodies, develops motor skills, and teaches self-defense, but did you know that students who study Taekwondo also tend to do better in school? Through Taekwondo, students will learn goal setting, how to focus, develop self-confidence, and increase their self-esteem. Taekwondo teaches much more than just how to fight, it teaches life skills in integrity, perseverance, and an I CAN attitude.
3. Taekwondo for adults (ages 13 & up)
Taekwondo is action philosophy. It is the Korean art of self-defense. Literally translated, "Tae" means foot, "Kwon" means hand, and "Do" means the way. Taekwondo is much more than the image of the martial arts physical aspect. It is designed as a non-violent system of complete body exercise as well as being a way of life. Taekwondo includes physical techniques, mental disciplines, and a deep philosophy. Taekwondo training will help you discover the power to take control of your life.

5. Cardio Kickboxing
Ki-ya! Cardio Kickboxing is energizing, explosive, powerful, and uplifting. Kickboxing is a great way to lose weight and build self-esteem. This class incorporates basic martial arts moves like punching and kicking into an intense cardio workout. You will use punching bags and learn self-defense in a fast paced setting. The class content varies weekly so you will never get bored.
